Engaging Vitality: Visceral 3

April 10 to April 12, 2026 with Dan Bensky

9AM - 5PM Friday, Saturday & Sunday 8:30-1PM

@ Amherst Community Acupuncture, 86 Henry Street, Amherst MA 01002

One of the most fascinating and useful results of applying osteopathic palpatory concepts to TEAM (Traditional East Asian Medicine) is the clear realization that the yin and yang organs described in our core texts are clearly connected to the actual physical organs and that these connections are palpable.

In this workshop we will start by reviewing the participants' experiences with visceral as well as layer palpation, mobility, and motility and their utility in the practice of TEAM.  After a short review of the organs covered in Amherst in 2024 & 2025 (liver and lungs, and all of the gut tube from Stomach to Colon), we will move on to cover the gallbladder, kidneys, and the pelvis. For each of these we will focus on locating them, appreciating their motions, and discussing ways of integrating this knowledge into the practice of TEAM.

Prerequisite: Engaging Vitality Visceral 1 and/or 2. This class is open to anyone who has taken an EV intermediate class in visceral.

Cost: $650

CEUS: CEUs will be distributed through the NCCAOM for this course
